Meet some of the fantastic people who make up Camphill

Brittany Archer

Originally from the Bahamas, Brittany became a volunteer at Camphill Communities California after graduating from Florida Southern University. Since then, she’s visited fourteen Camphill communities!

After graduating college, Brittany knew she wanted to keep adventuring instead of returning home to the Bahamas. When her journey took her to Camphill Communities California, she immediately fell in love. The next year, she extended her Camphill journey at the community in Ireland.

Since being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis a few years into her Camphill journey, Brittany’s relationship with the community has deepened. Camphill’s wholehearted support has helped Brittany pursue her dream of visiting as many communities as possible (she’s been to fourteen so far!).

In her many travels, Brittany has loved seeing each community’s unique traditions and culture. Across all the differences, though, Brittany has found that Camphill always feels like home.
